I guess I should add more info. When running in debug mode, I get this 
output which shows motion deciding to use the GBRG palette, then

Here is my configuration file. Note that the v4l2_palette option is set 
to 6, but it did the same thing when it was set to 11 (default), and any 
other numbers with the exception of 2 (V4L2_PIX_FMT_SPCA561) where it
