If I rerun autoconf, I get:

➜  autoconf
➜  ./configure
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name...
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.

if I do svn revert configure, I get the same:

** Fatal Error YOU MUST HAVE pthread Support *

Any ideas?

Did you re-run 'autoheader' (to update config.h.in) and 'autoconf'
(to regenerate configure)? That error message looks like what I get if I
use the patched .c files with the unpatched configure. If you did
regenerate configure, I'd be interested in seeing your config.log. (Mail
it to me directly, no need to clutter the list with giant logfiles.)

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
