What would be an appropriate approach for signaling ‘detection is occurring’ in a user’s client browser?
I can’t find any examples beyond the SMS examples for how to do this. Would it be possible for a user to open a HTML/ JavaScript page and see text that would change from ‘detecting’ to ‘idle’?
If this is possible, and if the system was local area, and I did not need image or movie data… after the client browser makes its connection, could the event response on the client side be relatively real time?

I am novice at best on Linux; relatively new to Node.js but do understand JavaScript. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
