Vikki, That's what I'm suspecting, but I simply can't narrow it down. I tried it on a PC at home as well as at work. Both are running Windows XP Professional with the latest Microsoft updates with the latest build of IE. Both PCs were setup separatly, so actual configuration is different. The strange thing is that it's not consistent or predictable. It's almost as though occasionally, things aren't loading in the right order or something. On occasion, I get an IE error in the lower left corner of the status bar stating that the page has errors. Opening the details revelas that it can't find the "top.rightwindow" or something like that which leads me to believe that there is a "disconnect" somewhere among the frames/windows. Sometimes, I open a different "page" of messages (scroll the list of messages down and select something like "21-30") and then things work fine. But sometimes they don't. Unfortunatly, this instability is very frustrating. I thought I had a winner in moregroupware, but now, I have to re-think things. I'm definitely not slamming moregroupware because the problem is most likely in IE, but it's frustrating non the less... I spent about three hours last night trying different settings in both moregroupware and in IE, but it didn't really change anything. The best suggestion given to me so far was to go into "Settings > Appearance" and change the menu style to the "basic" style. While this seemed to improve the issue significantly, a nasty side-effect of this setting is that the resulting screen is just larger than my 1024X768 window can view, and there is no scroll bar on the far right to scroll the entire window. The result is that though I can see everything, the logout button is just off the page. It is "clickable" but only the top several pixels are actually viewable. Another example of very strange behavior is when I view a message in the preview window, there is a small "open book" icon. This is normal. But when I click on the icon, a new window opens that is simply a complete duplicate of the full moregroupware screen that was already open. In THAT new window, things seem to function fine. Very strange. On Fri, 12 Mar 2004 06:55:32 -0500, Vikki Thomas wrote: > > > Hi Jim, > > That sounds like more of a browser problem. Does it happen on more than > 1 PC?
