    The PowerTool - 2011-09-04

    Hi,

At first glance, this seems like a very handy tool. The two key items I need
    but have yet to find:

    1. When I load a CD, nothing happens in MoreAmp. Can I make MoreAmp recognize a CD is loaded and automatically load a playlist from the track data?
    2. Does MoreAmp call to a CD database to identify tracks on my audio CD?

    Thanks

    1. Normally yes, but there is a bug in the 0.1.27 release where MoreAmp fails to detect that a CD was loaded.
The workaround is to quit MoreAmp and restart it after loading the CD.

When MoreAmp sees that a CD is loaded it creates a playlist
    (masettings/macda.maf) with song names like H:\Track01.cda H:\Track02.cda ...

This list can then be opened like any other playlist, with File menus Open or
Open Recent, or with Controls menu Play CD.

Menus Make Catalog and Edit Playlist are also available, for whatever use, but
of course the list changes whenever a CD with a different number of tracks is
    loaded.

    1. No. Moreamp never connects to the internet for any reason.

MoreAmp has no provisions to correctly fill in tag data that some other music
players depend on, e.g. Album/Artist/Title etc. Song files created with
MoreAmp can be run through a tag editor such as Mp3tag or MusicBrainz Picard.

Thanks for bringing this up, the CD load bug should be fixed in the next
    release.
