Where you planning to implement OFX from scratch or use an existing library such as libOFX (http://libofx.sourceforge.net/)?

This is a feature that would be really good since my banks qif format is not compatible with the current qif import feature.

Another 3rd party library that could add OFX support is AqBanking (http://www.aquamaniac.de/aqbanking/). This library is used by other applications such as GnuCash and KMyMoney. AqBanking supports OFX through libOFX, but also imports from other formats such as HBCI and DTAUS.

Would be great to add this functionality because ofx is now a standard for the bank (it is the case for the french called La Banque Postale for instance).
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Financial_Exchange for some more information about this format and is adoption.
