It would be nice and helpful if the top categories summed the results of any subcategories. For example in household accounts we have FOOD as a top category with Groceries, Dining out, & Take out as subcategories. Doing a transaction report for a period for FOOD always shows zero. Another example: we have Homeneeds as a top category with gardening, tools, maintenance, furnishings, & property improvements as subcategories. I would like a way, other than exprting to Excel to get top category figures.
It would be especially useful in budgeting, because in some cases (ie: Pets) one subcategory might be over budget while another is under and the top category is still within defined budget.
