I've tried to use the reducewiki.py on a moin-desktop (linux redhat)
I've set the PYTHONPATH to my moin-desktop installation location
I've tried the python reducewiki.py --target_dir=3D/tmp/reduced-test
Nothing happens. No directory created no processing
I've also tried to create the dir before launching the command. No result.
Is their a trace-facility to setup to understand what happens (I must admit
I'm not python expert ....)
thanks for the support

Beginning with 1.5.3 those scripts are kind of plugins and intended to
get called by MoinMoin/script/moin.py as frontend (if you do a setup.py
standard installation, there will also be a "moin" command in your path
calling that moin.py).
See the toplevel Makefile for an example of how to call reducewiki.
Thanks for this answer.
I've not "installed" the the moin-desktop on my linux using the setup.py.
Rather I've unzip the archive, installed python and ran python moin.py.
Miraculously everything is running (yep yep thanks again ,,,) but I don;t
have any setup.py script in this distribution.
So how can i run python.py on a desktop moin installation (linux). Do I hav=
to get this script from the standard distribution ?
Thanks for your support
