Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2297104 By: jzgodwin Hello, I'm trying to get mod_auth_kerb working on a Solaris 9 machine running Apache 1.3.29+mod_ssl, and I'm having a problem. I cannot authenticate, and I get the following error when I use the correct password: [Thu Nov 20 13:56:53 2003] [error] [client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] Verifying krb5 password failed: Permission denied: (Permission denied) I can tell that some part of this is working, since the KDC log looks okay and when I supply an incorrect password this gets logged in apache's error log: [Thu Nov 20 13:56:49 2003] [error] [client XXX.XXXXXX.XXX] Verifying krb5 password failed: Decrypt integrity check failed: (No such file or directory) The .htaccess file looks like this: KrbMethodNegotiate off KrbMethodK4Pass off AuthName "physics.unc.edu" KrbServiceName www KrbAuthRealms PHYSICS.UNC.EDU require user jzgodwin SSLRequireSSL Can you give me any advice on how to fix this problem? Thanks a bunch. James ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
