#346 redraw misses on Mac OS X

No

The wxPython-based GUI on Mac OS X, running with
wxPython 2.4 doesn't redraw the big pane when search
results come in. Once you click on that pane, then it
redraws and you can see search results. (This is noted
on http://mnet.sf.net/downloads-macosx.php as a known bug.)

I tried with wxPython 2.5, since it is the "current"
version that is downloadable and it is easier to
explain to Mac users how to download the current
version than how to download an older version.
Unfortunately there are more "redraw misses" with that
version -- very often when you hide and expose the
window, it doesn't get redrawn. Clicking on it
sometimes triggers a redraw.

Assigning to Myers even though I doubt he'll have the
time, interest, and access to Mac OS X to fix this
anytime soon. Hi, Myers!

I added a description of the bug and the user work-around to
the download-macosx.php file. Bumping this issue to v0.6.3.
