Hi, currently mlt embedds RtAudio, which is bad for distributions. Would you fix it please, so that it first tries to build and link against the system RtAudio one? Thanks! -- /* Mit freundlichem Gruß / With kind regards, Patrick Matthäi GNU/Linux Debian Developer E-Mail: pma...@de... pa...@li... */ |

No, that defeats MY goal, which is to have an audio consumer independent of non-platform libs (considering libasound a platform lib on Linux). Just pretend I wrote that code. You are free to disable it it your configuration. -- +-DRD-+ |

PS.: Do not forget that "my" is a synonym for Debian, its users, forks (like Ubuntu) etc.. -- /* Mit freundlichem Gruß / With kind regards, Patrick Matthäi GNU/Linux Debian Developer E-Mail: pma...@de... pa...@li... */ |

The system one is not usable because I customized my copy for MLT's needs. > >> on Linux). Just pretend I wrote that code. I know. A client paid me to integrate this, and it needed to satisfy particular requirements. Currently there are no public applications such as melt, OpenShot, or Kdenlive that need or use it. > > -- > /* > Mit freundlichem Gruß / With kind regards, > Patrick Matthäi > GNU/Linux Debian Developer > > E-Mail: pma...@de... > pa...@li... > */ > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > For Developers, A Lot Can Happen In A Second. > Boundary is the first to Know...and Tell You. > Monitor Your Applications in Ultra-Fine Resolution.
