With the new profiles system, and not using the environment variable--just setting a profile property on the consumer--and when using a non-25fps profile, producer avformat produces wrong length value. That can affect the out point of a playlist entry as well.
Producer_avformat is determining the clip length in terms of the expected consumer fps. Then, if the playlist entry out point is greater than that length, it cuts set to the length. However, when producer_avformat is determining the length, the consumer may not yet be connected. Therefore, it is determining it based on the hard-coded default of PAL 25fps.
This is one design problem in the new profiles system.
