following the advice of DJ Pegasus, I would like to post a couple of
mappings/scripts I worked on lately.
As a basis, I used Matteo's MIXTRACK files, hence, some of "my" code
looks very similar to Matteo's.
- Ion Discover DJ Pro
- Numark DJ2Go
Due to simplicity of the DJ2Go, I decided to create different versions.
You will find three different version in the attachments. A plain
version, a "pb verion" and an "lf version".
pf version: Pitch bend is simulated (!!) by repetitively depressing
the respective button.
lf version: The pitch sliders are line faders.
SYNC: toggles the scratch mode of the respective jog-wheel
ENTER: loads the highlighted track into the deck in idle
LOAD A/B: beatsync A/B (see remarks below)
PITCH BEND - : toggles keylock
PITCH BEND + : bpm tap
PITCH BEND -/+ : repetitively simulated pitch bend (uses "jog" parameter)
pitch sliders : line faders
VOLUME A/B: gain A/B
PITCH BEND - : reduce pitch by 0.04
PITCH BEND + : increade pitch by 0.04
The CUE LEDs are lit when CUE is depressed, if someone would like to
add a CDJ-like behaviour, please share!
Why replacing the function of the LOAD A/B buttons? Since ENTER is
assigned to load the highlighted track into the next available deck,
it would be IMHO a shame to waste two further possible controls for
just that function.
I hope you will find the mappings somewhat useful.
Best regards, Joachim

This is actually completely unnecessary. If you go into
Preferences->Interface and click the check box 'Ramping Pitchbend' you
can enable progressive pitch bend for the ramp_temp_up and
In the future it might be good to actually make it the default. Maybe
we should at least put this tid bit in the FAQ.
