I added a diabled_commands file option. If you want to try it, you can pick
up 2.46 here:
Or must pick up these files:
I also re-enabled the duplicate file message as you suggested.
I had been having problems with errant reboots shortly after installing MH
for the first time, I ended up replacing the mh_control file with one of my
own - that had commented out the reboot options. I had not upgraded in a
while and when I recently moved to the 2.45 code base, additional functions
had been added to mh_control (mainly the keyboard processing) and not having
those in my changed version caused me to be unable to do things - like exit
for example (not that one would ever want to exit from misterhouse of course
Being much more knowledgeable now, I changed the mh_control file to have a
config keyword - hide_admin_cmds - that if set, would not allow the reboot,
reload code, etc. to operate. They still appeared on the webpage menu, they
just silently did nothing. I am hoping you would consider adding these
changes into the distributed copy of the file, and optionally add a
'hide_admin_cmds=0' to the mh.ini file to explain to people what it does. I
am attaching a copy of my changed mh_control.pl file here.
In addition, I was hoping you would consider uncommenting the line:
# print "Warning, duplicate file: $file\n";
(roughly line 2568 in mh) - this will allow the issuing of a message when a
duplicate file is found - just in case the case ever comes up again where a
filename ends up duplicated between my code and the mh common code.
