Jim,

If you would like to open an issue on Github, I'll mark it as an enhancement and try to
work on it when I get done with the i2 code.  IMO, Insteon dimmable devices should work
just like the X10 counterparts.  If you do open the issue please paste Kevin's work around
into the issue text.

Yeah, I am not sure what I meant either.  It was more thinking out loud than actual help.
Let's see what I can do. 

 

I am assuming you are trying to control your lights from:

Misterhouse->Lights and Appliances ->Some Group

 

Is that right?  I only see On/Off for all of my devices there.  I do remember the old MH
had more options, I can't remember were they in a drop down menu?

 

Ok, so after some tinkering, yes I can help you make that work again, but it isn't
pleasant.  To do so, you need to create a user code file.  Say cmd_states.pl.  The content
needs to be:

 

# Category = Insteon

 

#@  Add states to web interface

 

$f_kt_main_lt_ma->set_states(('off', '20', '40', '60', '80', 'on'));

 

You need to have one line like that for each device you want to affect.  At a more
advanced level, you could create a loop through Switchlincs and Keypadlincs.  But this
basic thing will work.

 

Now make sure this new user file is enabled.  Reset MH.

 

You should now see a list of options were previosly there was only on/off.

 

In order to get a drop down list I had to add the following to mh.private.ini

 

html_select_length=3
