Thanks for the new comand Ron! On Fedora release 12 (Constantine) "yum provides CPAN" returns: Warning: 3.0.x versions of yum would erroneously match against filenames. You can use "*/CPAN" and/or "*bin/CPAN" to get that behaviour No Matches found "yum search CPAN" returns the >2000 perl modules available for download. How were you recommending that Jim use 'provides'?
