I checked for CR/LF, and saw nothing out of the ordinary, but still no change. I removed the source, and pulled from CVS and the issue was gone. I think I should have just used the tar ball like Matt suggested, but cvs worked good. I think I was just being a bonehead and using the zip.. -----Original Message----- From: Matthew Williams [mailto:mat...@us...] Sent: Saturday, January 03, 2009 11:01 AM To: eb...@se...; The main list for the MisterHouse home automation program Subject: Re: [mh] Mh 2.105 Interpreter Edward Brookhouse wrote: > Installed from source, into /usr/local/mh as the root, when I execute bin/mh > -tk 0 I get : bad interpreter: No such file or directory Did you install from the zip file or the tarball? What do you get when you run the following from the bin directory: od -xN 32 mh You should get: 0000000 2123 752f 7273 622f 6e69 702f 7265 0a6c 0000020 2023 2a2d 202d 6550 6c72 2d20 2d2a 230a The key byte is the 2nd to last one on the first line. It should only show a LF (0x0a) and not a CRLF (0x0d0a). My guess is that you downloaded the zip file and have a DOS encoded copy of mh. If so, then you can run a utility like dos2unix to fix the file or start again with the tarball. My recommendation would be to use the tarball Matt -- GPG Key ID: 722441BA MisterHouse Wiki: http://misterhouse.wikispaces.com/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- ________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from this list, go to: http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=1365 |
