I'm getting closer with creating MCE (Media Center Edition) pages on my Misterhouse Linux box. MCE pages are written in .NET so I installed Mono which allows .Net pages to be run under Linux. I've created a simple test page that shows some buttons and the buttons scroll correcting when being called up with IE. The page also reads my variable from my mh.private.ini file. I've temporarily put the page on a free hosted site with Linux running Mono so you can see the page. http://surge2.monoforge.com/hvac.shtml This is what I have in my page: (hvac_setpoint_cool_high is set to 72 in my mh.private.ini file) <tr><td ID="btnHVAC" class="button2" MCFocusable="true">Cool to <!--#include code="$config_parms{hvac_setpoint_cool_high}"--></td></tr> The output is: Cool to 72 If I put the page in a folder that is controlled by Apache, I am able to scroll between the various buttons, but the variable '72' does NOT show up. If I put the page in a folder that is controlled by Misterhouse, I am NOT able to scroll between the various buttons, but the variable '72' DOES show up. Any ideas how I can get the MH web server to read the pages using Mono? or get the Apache pages to see the MH data? Can MH be directed to use Apache instead? thanks, tom |
