If your have your mail client set to @ 'leave mail on server', you will probably want to set this to @ 15, to match the 15 minute interval in code member internet_mail.pl The comments in get_email suggest that if net_mail_scan_age is set, you get age-based selection ***as opposed to*** read/unread selection. So every email which qualifies on age is read again, even if it has been read before. (There are no doubt some scenarios in which this is exactly what is required, eg if the email has been read by a different mail client and you want mh to read it again - hence the advice in mh.ini.)
