The picture quality of these cameras is really bad. I ended up modifying so that I could plug in another camera into the wireless part of the x-10's. It works well. Info on how to do this is at http://www.geocities.com/ido_bartana/modifying_the_xcam2.htm Andrew -----Original Message----- From: mis...@li... They will interface to misterhouse if you have the correct video capture card. a winTv card works great with windows and Linux. The X10 windiows software and their USB capture device is really really low quality and is guarenteed not to work with linux. But, be fore-warned the X10 cameras have low quality video. The lenses are plastic and you cannot get everything in focus. (I have 4 of them and I have sent back 4 because of bad focus) but you cant expect perfection out of a dirt cheap camera. A real camera costs from $199 to $399 depending on if it's indoor or outdoor and color... so at the X10 prices I live with the lack of sharp focus and the really bad sensitivity. -----Original Message----- From: je...@bu... I would like to get a few cameras for different areas of the house and I just happen to see they are having a pretty good sale on them. However, I dont want to waste the money if they arent any good and wont interface with Misterhouse. Any quick responses would be greatly appreciated, the sale appears to end today.
