It's been a while since I've used Eudora...  Perhaps there is an option to
display / not display extra headers in the message?

My old Unix mailer, elm, shows most if not all headers by default.

Because of the SMTP RFC, any mail program that is displaying the headers in
the mail message itself is not complying with the RFC.  The basic layout of
an email is:

To: address
From: address
Subject: address
header: data
header: data
<blank line>
Message body


thus, anything coming before the first blank line, is supposed to be
considered header information.  Depending on your mail program, you may or
may not see this information outright...  however some mail agents display
any header information that is not "standard" in the body of the message,
which is incorrect.

In summmary - complain to Eudora, or switch mail clients =)  The listserv is
working correctly.
