Attached should read skins a little bit better and read correctly ones that have the texture as last line without a new line before EOF. Also I'm going to start writing the writeFile stuff. Paths in the md3 file are relative to quake virtual file system and probably need to be specified somewhere. Looking though md2, it seems you assume the path is players/baseName/baseName how would this then work for weapons for example? Would a save as md3 extra dialog be a good way to handle it, or maybe something like a md3 properties file. The file could be located in the directory your saving it to where someone manually edits it and mm3d reads it before saving? What would be better maybe mm3d specific metadata for md3 models. Like MD3_PATH and MD3_mesh_SKIN, which could also be set when opening a md3 file. The needed metadata could be indicated in a helpfile and perhaps a warning when saving the model if the metadata doesn't exist. I'm talking about the metadata thats in Group->Edit_Model_Meta_Data...
