    Issues:

    1. Why Does MiniDLNA stop running ?
    2. What does Precondition Failed mean ?
upnphttp.c:1126: debug: HTTP RESPONSE: HTTP/1.1 412 Precondition Failed
    3. Media Pyayer 12 cannot see the MiniDLNA server (I can see my TVMobili server from my other Windows PC)
    4. How do I get MiniDLNA to stop indexing on startup as I have a massive collection that takes a long time each startup to run.

    (4) Easy one first. In your /etc/minidlna, explicitly give a db_dir=  otherwise it seems to default to /tmp which dies when you shutdown and needs to be recreated at next boot.

I shudder to think of all the NFTS related bugs that might lurk. I'm not saying that is a problem but I would keep it in mind as you debug.

DLNA clients also/often have a cache of servers they've seen and positions within a media streams recently requested. You can change the servers setting all kinds of ways and the client still tries the same failing way as before your server  was changed. It's a feature and a problem all in one!  Change the serial number in the .conf file if you need to make major restructuring. Usually there is client menu option to clean it's server settings.

I can't speak to the sig 2 but DLNA is one chatty and complex protocol and not all reported errors are important. Then again, some are.
