    Hello,

    I have the following Problem, I compiled and installed MiniDLNA on my RaspberryPi, with Raspian, with the following commands.

    $ wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/minidlna/files/minidlna/1.1.2/minidlna-1.1.2.tar.gz
    $ tar -xzf minidlna-1.1.2.tar.gz
    $ sudo apt-get build-dep minidlna
    $ cd minidlna-1.1.2
    $ ./configure
    $ make
    $ sudo make install
    $ sudo cp minidlna.conf /etc/
    $ sudo cp linux/minidlna.init.d.script /etc/init.d/minidlna
    $ sudo chmod 755 /etc/init.d/minidlna
    $ sudo update-rc.d minidlna defaults

    In top there are shown two minidlnad pids.
    All commands like "sudo service minidlna start|restart|reload|force-reload" are working fine.

    But after I watched a Video I have several pids shown up in "top"
    And commands like "force-reload" don't work anymore.

    I get following messanges:

    $ sudo service minidlna stop
    [....] Stopping minidlna: minidlnastart-stop-daemon: warning: failed to kill 14558: No such process
    failed!

    $ sudo service minidlna start
    [ ok ] Starting minidlna: minidlna.

    $ sudo service minidlna force-reload
    [....] Restarting minidlna: minidlnastart-stop-daemon: warning: failed to kill 17579: No such process
    . ok

    And the database doesn't rebuild itself.

    What can I do to use the force-reload command again?

    I wanted to use this command in a cronjob because a media_dir is ntfs formatted.

    Really appreciate some help!

    Best Greetings

    Lemongrass!

    Can you post the contents of your /etc/init.d/minidlna

    Also, it seems like the process crashed in between?
