I am setting up a router (TP-WR1043ND) with OpenWRT and like to use it as media server for my Roku Soundbridge. Up to now I streamed my music with mt-daapd (firefly) from a NSLU device. As no up to date package exists I look around for alternatives and miniDLNA was reported to work well. But I can not find documentation to this software. Please tell me where to look for it.
Some of my questions are:
How much memory consumes miniDLNA? I'd like to store/run it from internal flash, but store the database on the USB mounted HDD. Is miniDLNA using a Database? Where is the database stored and can I set a folder for it?
I like to scrobble my played song data to Last.fm with a script/software running on the router. How to access the recently played song data (artist, title)?
All the configurable options are described in comments inside the default config file. There's also a man page included with the debian/ubuntu package.
Thank you. My new system is up and running. But I'd like to change the language and the category name/order. How to da this? I did not found an option inside the config file (minidlna.conf).
