I'm using minidlna with nas4free and when playing most of my videos I get: error: maxproc limit exceeded by uid 933

UID 933 is the user or group associated with minidlna.  I tried increasing the maxproc limit like some suggested but no luck. Then I started examing the minidlna log and I saw this every second while playing the movie:

upnphttp.c:1231: error: sendfile error :: error no. 32
upnphttp.c:1231: error: sendfile error :: error no. 32
upnphttp.c:1231: error: sendfile error :: error no. 32

Well even more than one a second, there is a TON! Any suggestions? I'm using minidlna with my PS3.

Looks like my Zombie processes are growing like crazy. Over a 1000 in just a few minutes of Video. This only happens when I play from my PS3, not PC.

I guess it would help knowing which version of minidlna you're using (and if it was packaged by a third party or compiled by yourself), on which platform, etc.

Must be an old version.  Looks like nas4free is FreeBSD-based, and the FreeBSD Ports version that was being published did have a SIGCHLD reaper issue a while back.  I'd recommend pulling the latest code from CVS HEAD for use on any non-Linux platform.
