I am running miniDLNA 1.0.16.3 on OpenSUSE 11.1 on an AMD-64. It works perfectly with a Sony Bravia KDL-46W5500 and XBMC, both for music and photos. Recently I bought a Sony NAS-Z200iR since it was said to work with DLNA. The NAS-Z200iR finds the server and I can chose Albums, Artists & Folders, but when I chose a track I get the message that it can't be played. I got the suggestion from Sony support to test their Vaio Media Center - and I tested it on a Windows XP and it worked fine! However I would prefer to use opensource for my servers! Have anyone any suggestion what the problem might be?

I'm not familiar with Vaio Media Center. According to their DLNA certificate information (http://certification.dlna.org/certs/REG31235743.pdf), they only support DLNA 1.0, and only the LPCM profile. Based on that, it's not looking too good.
