Net radio in minidlna is this possible?
I wounder how difficult it would be to implement a mms stream into minidlna?
Lets say you have a config file that define the mms url's and a "display name" that will show at the client side.
And when you enable "net radio mode" in the ordinary config file, minidlna fires up a new instance of minidlna that provides the links to your predefined mms streams?
My first thought is why would you want to use Microsoft's proprietary and legacy MMS protocol? But then I don't use net radio, so I have no idea if that's the de facto standard.
I presume that you want the MMS stream to appear to the client device as if it were a static music file?
I think MMS is rather de facto yes, i haven't seen anything else..
And yes i think it could be useful to make mms streams appear to the client as static music file.
