Updated of w64 crt and headerset.
The support of windows, console, and shared objects binaries is improved.
Now the w64 headers are set as Public Domain.
Please use the current version of gcc 4.3 (trunk) and binutils 184.108.40.206 (trunk) for build.
May you need to adjust the makefiles of mwcrt_noat before build.
This new snapshot of the MSYS POSIX layer DLL contains a workaround for an issue that rendered MSYS unusable on Vista 64. See the bug report #1674783, "Problem with Vista 64 bit": http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1674783&group_id=2435&atid=102435
To install it, download the MSYS-1.0.11-20070729.tar.bz2 file:
Updated header set and crt for w64.
- crtbegin/crtend are build automatically.
- console and windows GUI apps use same startup
- ctor/dtor support
- headers bugfix about double defined types, etc.
Additionally a patch file for gcc 4.3 (trunk) needed to build the cross compiler successful.
Update crt and headers to support options -mconsole and -mwindows proper.
Also the last post the headers and crt tarballs were flipped.
In earier releases the crt was placed directly within crt1.o and crt2.o, what result in the problem that you were just capabable to get windows or console applications. The real startup code is moved into libmingw.
Update version of the mingw-w64-headers-crt release.
By this version of crt and headers you capable to build console and windows native x86_64 applications. The dll support is still a bit limited, but works for most cases.
Many thanks to Prof Ripley for some notes.
Updated headers and crt for w64. Tested with binutils (trunk) and gcc (trunk).
Currently on gcc there are some patches needed for native build of libiberty are not approved. Therefore the build will fail for gcc on this step.
Updated version of the w64 header set. Usable with the w64 crt.
This package includes a w64 crt and library def-files. This is a alpha version and not a complete runtime for x86_64-pc-ming32 Windows.
A build of the recent gdb 6.6 release is now available for MinGW. This release includes the patch against the FSF sources should you wish to compile it yourself.
These are the definition files for the x86_64 mingw target to generate the needed import libraries.
Header set for x86_64-pc-mingw32 support. This is a header set tested only for x86_64 version, but it includes also the definitions for x86 and ia64, too. It was used to build and verify the patch to gcc 4.3 (trunk) and may also it has some use to mingw.
It needs to be reviewed and may merged with mingw.

The coreutils regression has been resolved. I have uploaded a new coreutils-5.97-MSYS-1.0.11-snapshot.tar.bz2 file. If you installed this file on or before January 19th, 2007 then it is in your best interest to reinstall the file.
