On the page http://www.mingw.org/wiki/LibrariesAndTools in the section 'Screen Libraries' the link to http://www.gtk.org/download-windows.html is broken. In addition, I'm confused by the rest of the text in that paragraph. It seems that GTK-related things for MinGW are available from the GTK+ site, but some also from the 'MinGW download files section' (on the MinGW site?), and that most often they should be taken from the MinGW Sourceforge archive, but some should be taken from the GTK+ site. Could someone please clarify for me which things should be taken from where? What kinds of problems arise if things are taken from the 'wrong' site? - Robert |

I wish the author of the text had indicated which libraries were distributed by MinGW. Since the gnome project uses MinGW for building it's binaries you will probably be O.K. in downloading all the libraries from there but I can't say that you will not find issues. -- Earnie -- https://sites.google.com/site/earnieboyd/ |
