This a strange question to prove my ignorence. How is
unicode handled with GCC+mingw?
I understand there are all sorts of formats for unicode
strings. Little/Big endian. 16/32 char sizes. Unicode
is just values assigned to symbols and hence their are
consequently many data storage representations.
Is there anyway to control what output and type literal
string in quotes and characters in single quotes produce?
What about signedness for those strings? Can signedness
of literal characters of any size be controlled?
Can these be done seperately from in any way effecting the
"char" data type?
Does GCC understand any souce file format other than ascii?
And if so how is it specified/detected?
