It would be *great* if windres.exe was to support toolbars. Indeed, they were
a hack to make MFC code easier ;)
But, they are (I think) very easy to implement.
Behind the scenes, the TOOLBAR is a simple structure like this:
WORD version; // must be equal to 1
WORD width; // width of each bitmap
WORD height; // height of each bitmap
WORD count; // how many bitmaps?
WORD items[count]; // ID of each item
Something like this
// extract from an .rc file
ID_tool TOOLBAR 16, 16
would be represented like this:
1, 16, 16, 2, ID_toggle_dirs, ID_toggle_text.
The win32gui library has support for direct loading of toolbars.
It would be great if gcc could use it too ;)
