Hi! I've been lurking for a while now and trying to dig through the
archives for an answer but haven't found an answer yet.
I'm relatively new to Mingw, having switched from Visual C. I develop a
multiplatform application, and I've been very happy moving all the
platforms to various forms of GCC for compiling.
The problem is I need to add some kind of native scripting support for the
Windows version. It appears that Windows Scripting Host is the most
sensible choice. Two problems. One, it appears to be C++ only and our
libraries are in C. I'm not that versed in C++ but am willing to
accommodate, or it may be possible to support via C. (All the docs want you
to use MFC, or Microsoft's latest ATL (Active Template Library))
The second larger problem (and the reason for this email), is that it
appears that the calls/interfaces/objects/whatever are not supported by the
Mingw win32api includes. They are of the variants IActiveScript*, and I
could use some help either finding the proper includes or any other details
(even OLE/COM references might help get me going in the right direction)
that might shed some light or even the right place to ask. Even a sample
that compiles with Mingw would be great.
Thanks for any help you might offer!
