I've now committed an `msys.bat' modification, derived from this patch
submitted by Tuomo Latto, into CVS. Any user who needs this functionality,
and can't wait for the next formal MSYS release, may grab the CVS version from
Right click on the `download' link for revision 1.14 -- there may be some
delay before this version appears in the browseable repository, but this *is*
the one you need -- and save the file in place of your existing `msys.bat'.
It should work with current versions of MSYS.
