I'm trying to use the Xerces-Library (xml.apache.org).
I have downloaded the actual binary-distribution of
Xerces, but trying to compile
g++ -Ic:\xerces\include -Lc:\xerces\lib Test.cpp
produces messages about unresolved symbols
(Xerces-classes and methods).
P.S.: Is it possible to build Xerces from sources

If xerces-c_2.lib is a library built using MSVC in the C++ language, it will
not work with Mingw. The only solution is probably to build Xerces using
Mingw, but I don't know how difficult this would be. If Xerces doesn't use
MSVC-specific features then you shouldn't have too much trouble, but you'll
only know by trying :-).
