I'm trying to use=20 xmlParseFile( utf8filename ) using japaneese character in my file name, and that doesn't work. also I tried to load the file in a char* buffer and called=20 xmlParseMemory(theBufferedFile, theFileByteSize); but that doesn't work either... Any tip? |

In fact one of my statement was wrong and due to a bug in my code. While xmlParseFile() doesn't work with non-ASCII charactes name, I was able (through other means) to load the file as an UTF8 string and pass it to xmlParseContent() with the UTF8 char* pointer Regards, Lloyd Dupont NovaMind development team NovaMind Software Mind Mapping Software <www.nova-mind.com> ----- Original Message ----- From: "Keith Marshall" <kei...@us...> To: "MinGW Users List" <min...@li...>; "Lloyd Dupont" <ll...@no...> Sent: Friday, July 21, 2006 8:46 AM Subject: Re: [Mingw-users] lib xml and non ASCII characters > On Thursday 20 July 2006 9:45 am, Lloyd Dupont wrote: >> never mind, I worked around it... > > Would you care to share the solution with the rest of us? > > Regards, > Keith. |
