Hi, i have a working MSYS/MinGW setup on my PC, all is fine with it. I now want to configure and compile binutils and gcc from source for an embedded target. binutils went fine, but gcc fails in gcc/collect2.c with undefined references to fork() and signal(). I'm not sure if i described it clearly enough, i want to configure and compile gcc for an embedded target, not for MSYS. I also don't wan't to build MinGW from source. I want to build a compiler for a microcontroller and use that compiler under MSYS. Can anybody give me a hint on how to configure and compile gcc from source under MinGW/MSYS ? Are there more prerequisites needed to compile gcc? Best regards, Torsten. |

I'll try the scripts mentioned there, it looks like they are exactly what i need. Best regards, Torsten. |
