Dear all, I want to get Apache (2 preferably) and mod_perl compiled under Win32 with MinGW/MSys. In the past I have always used VC6, and I would like to switch, but I don't want to use cygwin. Has anybody managed to do this? My main problem is compiling Apache's APR - I get 'decision on anonymous shared memory allocation method failed' when running configure. Googling only gave me a few results - the most promising of which were: http://hypermail.linklord.com/new-httpd.old/2002/Jun/0595.html http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Support/ModPerlDistributionOnWindows I realise that I may have to install a binary release of Apache, which is a pity, as I was hoping to stay away from the nmake/VC compiler. Another alternative may be accepting mingw + cygwin as the best method. Lucian |
