Thank you Earnie for your help, next step I want to build msys from msys-1.0.10-rc-src-1.tar.bz2. unzipped to /d/download/GNU/ stepped to cd /d/download/GNU/msys/1.0/10/packages/bash/2.04 mkdir i386 && cd i386 ../configure --prefix=/usr i386 make -a lot compiled till gcc -DPROGRAM='"bash.exe"' -DCONF_HOSTTYPE='"i386"' -DCONF_OSTYPE='"none"' -DCO NF_MACHTYPE='"i386-pc-none"' -DCONF_VENDOR='"pc"' -DSHELL -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.. -I../include -I../lib -I/usr/include -g -O2 -c ../jobs.c In file included from ../jobs.c:54: ../include/shtty.h:61: sgtty.h: No such file or directory make: *** [jobs.o] Error 1 cannot find any remarks in archive, it think it depends on basic IO.
