Hi folks, Been quietly following this. I heartily agree that SourceNavigator is an excellent, and quite comprehensive gnu development (GUI) IDE. In fact it is especially useful when dealing with more than 50,000 lines of code. For an excellent example of a conversion from MS VC++ code to Mingw (make processing), you might want to check out CrystalSpace (GPL -- http://crystal.sourceforge.net/) make process. Specifically, take a look at the makefile and win32gcc.mak files. This particular make file is an excellent example of taking existing MSVC/C++ source code and compiling/linking multiple large projects with GnuMake. CrystalSpace started as a Linux project and is now buildable as both msvc/c++ (Visual Studio) and mingw c++. > > The homepage is at: > > http://sources.redhat.com/sourcenav/ > > The download can be found at a mirror, like: > > ftp://ftp.freesoftware.com/pub/sourceware/sourcenav/releases/SN45 > 2.tar.gz > > There is no "built in" support for Mingw in this realease (you > need to change some lines in a file to add it), but the 5.0 > release is going to add some features that will make it really > easy to pop a new toolchain (like mingw) into SN. Looking forward to release 5.0.
