One last thing -  I want to update my mingw installation to the lastest pac=
kages.  What should I do?   Can I get rid of old packages such gcc < 4.0 an=
d the related libraries? =20

I am thinking of downloading the latest tar.bz2 packages and then using msy=
s.bat to get an unix-like environment . Within msys cd /mingw and then bunz=
p2 and tar for all packages.  Am I doing right thing?

I am not sure how to get rid of old packages though.
