Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3433541 By: keithmarshall Since you are familiar with *nix way of doing this, you may find the _pipe() and _spawn??() functions more palatable; _pipe() is somewhat analogous to *nix pipe(), (but not quite identical), while _spawn??() is kind of like a fork() followed by an exec??(), although it doesn't give you the opportunity to do anything between the fork() and the exec??(). This is how I prefer to handle this sort of task. The principle caveat is the argument quoting bug in _spawn??(), which my execwrap library works around, (but do note that it is GPL). HTH.
