When I complied libobjc (non-gc) as a dll, I found that if some of my dlls were complied against the libobjc.dll and others were using libobjc.a then my program would crash at runtime. I don't know if that applies to you or not. The objc runtime is mysterious and subtle. There are about 100,000 places where the error might be and you have not yet narrowed it down at all for us here on the mailing list.
