If it is a "dos" application you must be using something else then =
MinGW, unless you mean a win32 console application.

If it is a win32 console application then I belive there is a win32 =
function to clear the buffer, but I do not remeber what it's called, =
have a peek at msdn.microsoft.com, look under console reference.
