I like the Windows compilers very much but have one problem. When I first write a FORTRAN or C program, I often make many mistakes. Therefore I get many compiler error messages. Normally compiler error messages go to the terminal. If I make too many errors, the error messages go off the screen. On the UNIX, I am able to solve this problem, by typing: nohup g77 aaa.for ..... > aaa.err & This causes the compiler error messages to go to a file (aaa.err) that I can browse. I am unable to find a corresponding procedure in DOS. Is there any option in the Windows g77 and gcc commands that will enable me to send the compiler error messages to a file rather than to the terminal screen? Thanks for your help.
