I would be willing to spend some time working on this. I have a working winuser.h, user32.def, libuser32.a file put together that I'm currently using for this. I'm just unsure that since this is setup to work with windows 8 (release preview) if it is even appropriate. Should I wait until the official release?

Anyway, I haven't seen the libuser32.a file in the repository only in my install. Does this get built at release? I haven't seen anywhere documenting how to build the w32api package.

Having WM_POINTER in mingw w32api would be really useful for me and others I would think, if someone could point me in the correct direction I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Hi,
I recently started trying to integrate the Windows 8 WM_POINTER api into the spring rts project which uses mingw. In order to use the calls I had to update the winuser.h and libuser32.a files. I eventually got this to work, but if I want to actually add this into my project it would be best to have these updates in the w32api. I'm not sure if you can add this yet as technically Windows 8 hasn't even been released. Anyway was wondering what the best course of action would be going forward.

Best,
