I'm trying to use MinGW with MED programmers editor
(can be downloaded from www.utopia-planitia.de) under
W2k (all currently released service packs installed).

Running make.exe as the MED project command reports
the following error:

process_easy: DuplicateHandle(In) failed (e=6)
make.exe: Interrupt/Exception caught (code =
0xc0000005, addr = 0x41bf2a)

Author of MED told me that it has to be a bug in
make.exe.

Recently I discovered that this problem does not
happen under W98 (with the same project).

Note that I'have just downloaded the latest version of
MinGW.

Thanks,

Kk

Thanks for the report. The error code e=6 indicates an
invalid file handle. My first suspicion was a file
permission problem (W98 doesn't have permissions so that
could explain the diff between W98 and W2K), but the error
code doesn't match. I can't however reproduce your error
from command line. Try a different distro of GNU make and
if that fails as well, you may wish to report the bug to
the GNU make maintainers (If it succeeds I'd like to know
    too).
