Please add a "#include <stddef.h>" to <GL/glu.h> so
that an include of <GL/glu.h> by itself will not fail
with an unknown wchar_t symbol on line 230. This is so
a configure script can correctly detect the correct glu
version. FYI, I'm using mingw via cygwin with "gcc
-mno-cygwin", so maybe this is already fixed in the
mingw source.

Maybe you could also include GL/glut.h in the MinGW, as there
is libglut32.a, but not the corresponding header file.

If so, there would be also needed to add #include <stddef.h>.
I have downloaded GLUT from http://www.mcs.sdsmt.edu/
csc433/GLUT/MinGW/glut.h and it also causes problem with
wchar_t in new MinGW (the same way as glu.h). I don't know
if it is not already repaired (the wchar_t problem - as I use
Dev-C++ 4.9.9.0 and it uses Mingw/GCC 3.3.1) and if it is,
than I apologize for taking your time.

Seems to have been fixed in current CVS sources. Please
    reopen if not.

About missing <GL/glut.h>: Please open a new bug if one is
    not already opened.
