While binding some Object files, ld reports the
following errors.

../../obj/cygwin-MINGWGCC-debug/anvh.lex.o(.eh_frame+0x118cc):anvh.lex.cxx:
reloc refers to symbol `text$_ZN6VhBasenwEj' which i
s not being output

reloc refers to symbol `text$_ZN6VhBasenwEji' which
is not being output
../../obj/cygwin-MINGWGCC-debug/anvh.lex.o(.eh_frame+0x1190c):anvh.lex.cxx:
reloc refers to symbol `text$_ZN6VhBasedlEPv' which

../../obj/cygwin-MINGWGCC-debug/anvh.lex.o(.eh_frame+0x11a3c):anvh.lex.cxx:
reloc refers to symbol `text$_ZN12VhDesignUnit12addD

Can you please help me to recover this problem?

.o files are compiled by gcc-3.1 with the flag -g.

A similar bug was reported for the old compiler version. Are
you using the "-r" flag to ld? Does changing the order of
objects/libraries on the command line help? If possible,
please give a small test case that reproduces this problem.

-r option was used with ld.

Changing the order of objects did not help.

I am unable to reproduce the problem in a samll testcase,
but I am trying hard to do that. I will report you once it
    is reproduced

    Thanks-
    Adhip
