I was developed a program some years ago with gcj (under linux) and now I need to convert that for a windows (32bit) platform.
I downloaded the mingw-w32-1.0-bin_i686-linux_20101018.tar.bz2 but the gcj does not work.
I extracted the archive in /home/alex/mingw folder and run:
alex@9mm:~/mingw/bin$ i686-w64-mingw32-gcj -v
Using built-in specs.
Reading specs from libgcj.spec x86_64-pc-mingw32-gcj.exe: libgcj.spec: No such file or directory
Please help me with this little problem… Thanks for your attention Alex.
sorry to say that, but we don't build libjava for 32-bit in our automated builds. So if you want to use java with our runtime-headers & runtime you need to do the bootstrap for it manually.
As libjava can't be build for x64 Windows target (here is still an update of boehm-gc on gcc required to make this happen, and then some work to port libjava for 64-bit Windows), and the time of building it is very high, we don't plan to provide it in our automated built toolchains.
